Music as the healing force of life brought us together in Berlin.
We have the feeling that it wasn't a coincidence, maybe we know each other from else when.
The name "Better Now" was invented during a collaging session at Lamotta's place in which the album artwork was created.
Q was spontaneously cutting letters from different magazines, glued the newly made words on the cover, and there we got a name.
It was only later when we realised that there is much more to it than we thought. It happened by experimenting with playing and being, and by trying to be present in every single moment.
Making music together led us to great insights, to acknowledging our inner transformations which are part of our friendships, joy and understanding.
With no rush, we're just saying... it is better facing the truth now.
lyrics
let your thoughts roll outward
no reason to hesitate or looking backward
like a deep breath that clears the mind
there is nothing interesting that you've left behind
you know what truth brings so keep going
this is how you learn ,that's growing
It means to open a new page yeah
so get a good sleep tonight, tomorrow step out of the cage
That's
What
I
Call
Freedom
though the ways are steep and hard
keep it calm with self-regard
cuz you are beautiful when you have no pride
Don't fail yourself before you've tried
