Music as the healing force of life brought us together in Berlin.
We have the feeling that it wasn't a coincidence, maybe we know each other from else when.
The name "Better Now" was invented during a collaging session at Lamotta's place in which the album artwork was created.
Q was spontaneously cutting letters from different magazines, glued the newly made words on the cover, and there we got a name.
It was only later when we realised that there is much more to it than we thought. It happened by experimenting with playing and being, and by trying to be present in every single moment.
Making music together led us to great insights, to acknowledging our inner transformations which are part of our friendships, joy and understanding.
With no rush, we're just saying... it is better facing the truth now.
lyrics
waking up early but naturally
inside something is changing, so necessary
without knowing how much I needed it to come
sitting in my room, this thng is welcome
wanting without resorting but naturally
charging with records momentarily
to be here as long as we can
enjoying life is my only plan
it could make you do thngs that you may know
listening to birds
think yes before u say no
getting rid of unnecessary thoughts
learning your way, connecting the dots
so don't tryna be somebody that you're not
better loving yourself cause that what you have got
is not about the what, is how you do
so follow your dream if that your truth
trying without pushing, let it come naturally
searching, no more rushing
let yourself be
waking up early but naturally
inside somethng is changing, so necessary
without knowing how much I needed it to come
sitting in my room, this thng is welcome
wanting without resorting but naturally
charging with records momentarily
to be here as long as we can
enjoying life is my only plan
